Explore the color, texture, and rhythms of printmaking with frottage! We will create lively patterns with rubbings of plastic found objects and other recyclables. Embellish your work with a watercolor resist.
Book and paper artist Claire Marcus will also show us how to fold and cut our prints into a variety of book forms. Claire is a Teaching Artist for the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. Her work is shown internationally, and is part of Nurture Nature Center’s current PERSPECTIVES 7 exhibit.
Saturday, August 3rd, 12-2pm: workshop, 2-3pm: open studio.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
